The Atlanta Braves lead the Phillies by 1 1/2 games in the National League East, but that could change quickly as the they open a three-game series at Philadelphia Monday night.

Mike Foltynewicz (3-2, 2.87 ERA) will take the ball for the visitors. The Braves have lost 13 of his last 16 starts and the 26 year old right-hander lasted only five innings his last time out, throwing 107 pitches while walking five hitters. The Phillies turn to Nick Pivetta (3-2, 3.72 ERA) who struck out 11 and gave up just two hits and one run in seven innings against the Orioles last Wednesday. Phillies are 8-1 in Pivetta's last nine home starts and 13-3 in his last 16 starts overall. Phillies are 5-1 in Pivettas last six starts against Atlanta.

Philadelphia is 8-3 in its last 11 games and returns home from a 3-2 road trip. "To go home after a winning road trip, we have a lot to feel good about. We're ready, we're prepared for Atlanta," Phillies manager Gabe Kapler said to reporters Sunday. "We're excited about that series, and we're ready to roll."
