The Vegas Golden Knights will host the Washington Capitals for Game 1 of the Stanley Cup Finals Monday night. What Vegas has done this season is sensational.

In the last 50 years, only one other franchise from either the NHL, MLB, NBA or NFL/AFL has reached the championship series (or game) in its inaugural season, and I think Vegas' success will continue here in front of the home fans where it is 15-1 in its last 16 home games vs. a team with a winning road record.

Home ice and advantage should mean a lot here, and we can also note that Vegas won both of the regular season meetings, including a 3-0 triumph here at T-Mobile Arena.

The bookmakers are not giving Vegas enough credit, and I see amazing value on the home team here in the opener of the Stanley Cup Finals.
