The Minnesota Timberwolves should be fresh and lively after two solid days off since putting a 121-104 beating on Charlotte Wednesday night. They're red hot with wins in six of the last seven contests and have covered the spread in all triumphs.

Here they'll take on a Portland side which has lost six of its last eight and had failed to cover the spread in eight straight games before finally putting together a solid performance with a 108-86 win over Phoenix on Thursday. Phoenix is also in a rut though, and the Blazers will face a much bigger challenge tonight.

Minnesota has won back-to-back games away from home after opening the season with an 0-8 road record. I expect the hungry Wolves to make it three in a row with a win at Portland Saturday night.
