Huge rest advantage for the Washington Capitals who have had several days off since their 7-2 victory over Ottawa on Tuesday while the New York Islanders were in action Thursday night, posting a 6-1 victory over Toronto.

The Islanders are 1-4 in their last five vs. a team with a winning record and 1-4 in their last five games as a home underdog. Capitals are 14-6 in their last 20 games as a road favorite and I expect the Caps to be the favorite come game time.

The Islanders enter this contest top of the Metropolitan Division, two points ahead of Washington. That can't sit right with the reigning Stanley Cup-champion and I expect to see a well rested and focused Caps team come through with a win here.
