The Seattle Mariners have cooled off since a red hot 13-2 start to the season and managed just a total of 15 runs during an 0-6 homestand. The opposition was not the easiest though, with a pair of three-game series against Cleveland and Houston ... The Mariners are most likely rather happy to get out of Seattle for a change of scenery, and I like the price we get on the Mariners here at LA with veteran right-hander Felix Hernandez on the mound.

Hernandez (1-1, 4.38 ERA) had a rough 2018, but he's been much better this season. He allowed just one earned run through 5 1/3 innings of a 6-3 win against the Halos in his season debut, a matchup where he just like today was opposed by LAA right-hander Chris Stratton. Stratton (0-1, 5.54 ERA) went 4 1/3 innings in that contest and allowed four runs on seven hits in the defeat.
