The Washington Nationals will visit the New York Mets for the opener of a three-game series Friday night, and I think runs will be hard to come by for both teams with two very capable hurlers on the mound.

The Mets hand the ball to Marcus Stroman (6-11, 3.07 ERA). He gave up three runs on seven hits and a pair of walks in 4 1/3 innings at Pittsburgh in his first start in a Mets uniform on Saturday, but I think he has a big advantage here in his home debut and first career start against the Nats.

As for Washington starter Stephen Strasburg (14-5, 3.72 ERA), the right-hander owns a 2.82 ERA in 20 career starts against the Mets. Under is 13-3 in Nationals last 16 road games and 19-9-1 in Strasburg's last 29 road starts.
