Temple head coach Rod Carey is 0-6 SU and ATS in Bowl games, and I think his Owl side will come up short both SU and ATS when taking on the North Carolina Tar Heels in the Military Bowl.

North Carolina freshman QB Sam Howell leads the ACC in passing yards and passing touchdowns and closed out the season with five 300-yard games in his last seven outings. Temple has a solid pass defense, but I expect the Tar Heels have put up good numbers against other strong Ds and should find enough holes to exploit. As for Temple's offense, it can sputter at times and we can note that UNC held its last two opponents to a combined 17 points.
