The Minnesota Timberwolves own the second-worst record in the Western Conference and they've lost their last two games by an average of 13.5 points, but I like their chances of covering the number when visiting a slumping Houston team Tuesday night.

The dysfunctional Rockets are not in a position to lay double-digits against any team in the league at the moment, coming off four straight defeats, most recently a 20-point loss to Orlando.

Minnesota may struggle big time on the defensive end, but note that it has the 9th best scoring average in the league and Houston has found it hard to run up the score in recent games.
