The New York Islanders opened this Eastern Conference playoffs series with a 4-0 win. Netminder Semyon Varlamov has been a wall lately and has not allowed a goal over his last 136 minutes in the crease. He is 7-2-1 with a 2.71 GAA in previous meetings with Philly.

Philadelphia looked dominant in the round-robin portion of the playoffs but needed six games to get past Montreal in the last round and scored only a total of 11 games in the series.

The Islanders on the other hand are clicking and had no trouble lighting up the lamp in their series against Washington or against Philly in Game 1 of this series. I like the Isles to keep dominating on both ends of the end tonight.
