The New York Mets have fon four of their last five, including the last two in this four-game series with Philadelphia. The Phillies are Phillies are 6-14 in their last 20 road games and I don't like their chances here in the finale of this four-game series.

Zack Wheeler (4-0, 2.20 ERA) will take the ball for the Phillies. He's coming off 6 2/3 scoreless innings of a 3-0 win over Washington, but this could be a tough one against a Mets team that knows him well after spending 2013-2019 with the team. He beat his former club with seven innings of two-run ball in Philadelphia on Aug. 16, but I think that'll just have the Mets even more fired up for this game. Mets are 6-2 in their last eight home games vs. a right-handed starter and they're batting .283 off righties on the season.

Meanwhile, Philadelphia has no experience versus the Mets' 25-year old rookie left-hander David Peterson (4-1, 3.03 ERA). Peterson is back in the rotation after a short stint in the bullpen, during which he threw four scoreless innings of a 9-4 Mets win at Baltimore. The Mets have won each of his last four starts with Peterson allowing six runs through 14 innings of work.
