Cubs' right-hander Yu Darvish (7-1, 1.44 ERA) has been terrific for most of the season and he has allowed just five runs over his last 46 innings of work. On Aug 29, he held this very Reds team scoreless with eight strikeouts over six innings of a 3-0 triumph. Just like tonight, he was opposed by Reds righty Trevor Bauer (3-3, 2.05 ERA) who was charged with the three runs during his 5 1/3 innings on the mound. Over his last three starts, Bauer has surrendered 11 runs (eight earned) over 18 innings.

The Reds were shut out in a 3-0 loss to the Cubs on Tuesday, and I think they'll come up short again tonight.
