The Los Angeles Chargers are 1-2 SU on the season after dropping back-to-back games since defeating Cincinnati in the season opener. Still, the losses were close as they first lost to KC by an OT field goal while the Panthers beat them by five points last time out. Sure, no doubt a major disappointment losing to Carolina as a 6-point favorite, but the Chargers tend to perform much better against the spread as underdogs than as favorites.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are coming off back-to-back wins since losing the season opener at New Orleans. QB Tom Brady has started to find his targets, but this won't be an easy one as the Chargers have a top 10 pass defense allowing only 227.7 passing yards per game. Additionally, the Bucs might have to do without one of the league's top wide receivers as Chris Godwin is suffering from a hamstring injury.

The Bolts are one of only two teams inside the top-10 for both total offense and total defense, and I think they'll keep this closer than most seem to think.

The Chargers are 8-3-2 ATS in their last 13 games as an underdog. The buccaneers are 7-18-1 ATS in their last 26 games as a home favorite.
