The Boise State Broncos are 6-1 SU and 5-1 ATS. The one time they failed to cover the spread was as a 17.5-point favorite against Weber State. Here they are asked to cover 20+ points against a San Jose State squad that is 1-4 SU and 0-4 ATS on the season.

The teams will square off in Phoenix because of restrictions in Santa Clara County in response to COVID-19 so there is no home advantage for the Spartans, but I still like San Jose State to cover the number for the first time this season.

While this looks like (and most likely will be) a complete mismatch, the oddsmakers know what they're doing when they throw out this line. The public will pound Boise State pretty much no matter the point spread, and I think we're getting too many points on the dog to pass on.
