The No. 2 Houston Cougars are 19-9 ATS on the season, but they failed to cover the 7.5-point spread in a 63-60 win against Rutgers in the previous round of the NCAA Tournament and actually trailed the Scarlet Knights by nine with less than five minutes left on the clock. DeJon Jarreau played 32 minutes but a hip injury is clearly bothering him.

Here the Cougars will face a No. 11 Syracuse team that has opened the tourney with back-to-back wins as underdogs, beating San Diego State and West Virginia. Cuse's 2-3 zone defense can be tough to solve, and I like the Orange to keep this one close.
