Good spot to back the Minnesota Twins with Matt Shoemaker on the mound for this team debut. Shoemaker owns a 4-1 record with an 0.68 ERA in six career starts against the Tigers, and he should get backed by a decent amount of runs as Tigers' starter Jose Urena is coming off a rough 0-3, 5.40 ERA season.

Both teams are heading into this series 2-1 on the season, but I like the Twins to take the opener. Twins are 12-5 in the last 17 meetings in Detroit.
