The New York Mets have played only one game, a 5-3 loss to the Phillies on Monday. I like their chances to tie the series with a win tonight, coming up against Chase Anderson who was 1-2 with a hideous 7.22 ERA in 2020. Anderson is 2-3 with a 4.58 ERA in eight career starts against the Mets who counter with Marcus Stroman.

Stroman has had the last couple of seasons ruined by injury and hasn't pitched in a big-league game since Sept. 27, 2019. Stroman is 2-1 with a 3.66 ERA in five outings (three starts) against the Phillies.

Philly is due to cool off following a 4-0 start to the season while the Mets will be hungry for their first win.
