I think we'll see a fired-up Cincinnati Reds team today as they look to deny the Arizona Diamondbacks to complete the sweep of this three-game series. The Reds are 6-1 in their last 7 games after losing the first 2 games of a series and today's starter Jeff Hoffman (2-1, 2.93 ERA) is off to a fast start to the season. Hoffman has held two of three opponents to only one run. The D'Backs counter with Taylor Widener (1-0, 1.59 ERA) who has been excellent in two of three starts, the exception when he gave up four runs (three earned) in five innings of a 6-5 Arizona loss to the Reds on April 9. Diamondbacks are 3-13 in their last 16 during game 3 of a series.
