Gray took on Arizona back on April 9, when he held it to one run on two hits through 6 2/3 innings of a 7-3 win. D'Backs left-hander Madison Bumgarner (2-2, 6.31 ERA) has an ugly ERA, and one reason is eight runs allowed on eight hits over five innings at Colorado in his season opener.
