The Oakland Athletics have won only one of their last five games, but I like the A's to come through as a road favorite at Texas Thursday afternoon. They're 7-1 in right-hander Chris Bassitt's (7-2, 3.40 ERA) eight away starts on the season and he has allowed two earned runs or fewer in 11 of 15 starts in 2021.

Texas left-hander Kolby Allard (2-2, 2.93 ERA) is having a strong year, but note his 0-2 record with an 11.37 ERA in two career starts against the A's.
