Pittsburgh right-hander JT Brubaker (4-11, 4.95) should be extremely focused and motivated for this one as he looks to bounce back from a disastrous outing at Cincinnati last time out. Brubaker was tagged with eight earned runs in five innings of work, but it's worth noting that he had allowed only three runs over 10 innings in his last two previous starts. Cards' right-hander Wade LeBlanc (0-2, 4.02 ERA) is 0-1 wit a 4.19 ERA on the road. The team has lost four of his last six starts.

After dropping the first two games of the series, I think the Pirates will deny the Cards the sweep.
