OK, the Houston Texans are just 1-7 straight up on the season, but so are the Dolphins as well and the Texans are 4-4 ATS while Miami is only 2-5-1 ATS. The metrics for both teams are close, and I don't think Miami should be this kind of favorite against anyone in the league right now.

Texans' rookie quarterback Davis Mills has really struggled under center, but Tyrod Taylor is expected to be back for this one and he looked pretty sharp in the first few games of the season before being injured. He could not ask for a much easier opponent to make his comeback against with Miami giving up 291 passing yards per game.

Additionally, the Texans are off for 14 days following this contest, so I'm sure they'll put in a good effort before their bye week.
