Arizona righty Zach Davies was only 6-12 with a 5.78 ERA with the Cubs last year after a successful year with the Padres in 2020. The familiarity should be an advantage for the Friars who hand the ball to Joe Musgrove who is coming off a year where he posted a 3.18 ERA and an 11-9 record. Never mind the pitching advantage, the Padres lineup is a lot more potent than the D'Backs'.
