The Boston Red Sox are a disappointing 1-3 on the season after losing two of three at Yankee Stadium and dropping the opener of this three-game set against Detroit.

Red Sox starter Rich Hill posted a 7-8 record with a 3.86 ERA. Hill is 2-0 with a 3.24 ERA in eight career appearances, two starts, at Comerica Park. Detroit starter Tyler Alexander went 2-4 with a 3.81 ERA in 41 appearances, 15 starts last season.

Detroit has scored only 11 runs through its first four games of the season. Boston's bats have been almost equally cold, but I think the Red Sox take this one.
