Phillies right-hander Taijuan Walker (10-3, 4.02 ERA) gave up four runs against the Rays in his last start, but he had allowed a total of only three runs in his last five starts prior to that. Walker is 4-0 with a 2.13 ERA over 38 innings at home this season.

Rays left-hander Blake Snell is 0-3 with an ERA of 4.91 ERA in four career starts against the Phillies. The Phillies are 9-4 at home against left-handed starters.
