(MLB) Toronto vs. Milwaukee,

Result: Win
Money Line: -116.00 Toronto (Away)
Result: Win
The set-up: The Blue Jays edged the Brewers 4-3 on Tuesday and will conclude this two-game IL series, as well as a seven-game road trip, with this Wednesday afternoon game at Miller Park. Toronto lost three of its first four on the trip but avoided a sweep in Baltimore by winning 3-1 on Sunday, They now have a chance to finish 4-3 on the trip. Milwaukee kicked off a six-game homestand with its second straight loss after winning four in a row. The Brewers had won three straight and six of their previous seven at home prior to Tuesday.
The pitching matchup: Marcus Stroman (4-2 & 3.00 ERA) will get teh ball for Toronto and Matt Garza (2-0 & 2.43 ERA) for Milwaukee. Stroman's unbeaten streak reached six starts last Thursday, when he scattered seven hits over 5 2/3 scoreless innings in a 9-0 win at Atlanta while also hitting his first major-league homer. He has allowed more than two runs just once during the streak and only twice in nine starts this season. Stroman threw a complete game in his only career start against Milwaukee back on April 12 but suffered the loss despite giving up only two runs. Garza has pitched well in his five starts this season, allowing three ERs once and two or fewer in each of the other four outings. He settled for a no-decision at San Diego last Wednesday, after allowing one run on four hits over six innings. Garza's made 13 career starts against Toronto, going just 6-6 (team is 7-6) but he owns an impressive 2.14 ERA in those outings.
The pick: Toronto's' bullpen leads the American League with 163 innings of relief work, mostly because of the growing number of starters ending up on the disabled list. Toronto would love a long start from Stroman, who has worked into the sixth inning in each of his past three starts (17 2/3 IP / 2 ERs / 1.02 ERA / team is 3-0) and he will be looking to win his fourth consecutive decision. Garza has been impressive since returning from the disabled list in late April (2.43 ERA & 1.11 WHIP through 29 2/3 innings) but he's been a steady underachiever through the years. The Blue Jays have overcome a 2-11 start to 2017 to reach 20-26 and behind Stroman, cap their road trip with a win. Make Toronto a 10* play
