(NHL) Edmonton vs. Columbus,
Point Spread: -1.50 | -105.00 Edmonton (Away)
Result: Loss
The Oilers have clinched a playoff spot, but it is unlikely the will take their foot of the gas as their final position is still in question. The Oilers’ offense has never been in doubt and their recent history reflects this, with 4+ goals for on average in their last five games. Their big improvement has come on defense and goal-tending and they have limited their opponents to just 5 goals total in 4 games.

Columbus’s season is essentially over. They are missing their top scorer and a pair of D-men. They have lost four straight and their defense has been flawed even without injury. They’ll go through the motions today but I expect the Oilers to come out with their pedal to the metal. Take the Oilers – 1 ½. Solid odds here!
