The Mariners aren't hitting; the Tigers, with the worst offense in the league for the season, don't usually hit for much. There are two very good starters on the mound. E-Rod has been unhittable since his return, and Gilbert has been very solid for the M's this season. That Mariners bullpen has also been lights out all year, but especially lately.
