At 7:30 ET, my Opening Rd TOY is on Phoenix Mercury vs Minnesota Lynx Under. Game 1 of this series was an absolutely wild ride. Minnesota led 32-19 after the first quarter and extended that lead to 50-27 halfway through the 2nd quarter. The blowout nature of the game changed the tempo and the way that things played out. The Mercury furiously fought back. As a matter of fact, they even managed to take the lead at one point in the 4th quarter. The Lynx took their best shot and responded with their own, coming back for the victory. This one will play out much differently. The 4 regular season games averaged 156 points and the last regular season game at Minnesota finished with only 133. The Lynx had the best defense in the Western Conference this season.
