At 8:07 ET, my NHL Center Ice Report is on the Dallas Stars. The Islanders already lost at home versus Utah and now they are on the road against one of the top teams in the Western Conference. Varlamov struggled in goal against Utah and he is projected to be in goal again. The Stars are a Stanley Cup contender. Dallas is filled with offensive talent and blessed with great goaltending. The Stars let both games get away from them against the Islanders last season, dropping both in Overtime. One of those games marked Patrick Roy's debut behind the bench for the Islanders.
