At 9:10pm ET, my NBA Slam Dunk Club is on Phoenix. I said this prior to the Suns' recent 127-100 blowout of the Lakers: "The Suns really rely on their 'Big 3.' When all 3 of their stars are playing, or even when 2 of them are, they're one of the best teams in the NBA. But when 2 or more of them are hurt, they struggle. Recently both Beal and Durant have been out. The Suns are 1-6 in the games without Durant and they're 0-5 since Beal went down. Thankfully for Suns fans, they are both expected back tonight! They've had a nice break between games which allowed them to practice and get ready. Beal said this at yesterday's practice: 'I definitely feel a lot better. I'm thankful we had the schedule we had so we had some rest days, Kev and I.' ... " I stayed off them in their loss the next night, as they were playing 2 games in 2 days. But now the Suns are again rested. They catch the Warriors struggling and dealing with some injuries of their own. Durant and Curry are both expected to play and KD is 4-2 in h2h matchups when both players played, since he left GSW. Curry might individually outscore him but Durant's team will have the last laugh, again. Lay the points.
