Both last season's meetings came fairly early in the season, before the Oilers had hit their stride. Tampa won both. The Oilers got going shortly after that and they've been very difficult to defeat ever since. The Lightning are still pretty solid (8-5) on home ice but only mediocre (6-6) on the road.
