T.M. Selection: Minnesota Twins

Minnesota destroyed the White Sox 10-5 in the opener, before then falling 10-3 yestreday. While I expect a much closer affair overall after those b2b blowouts, I do expect Minnesota to answer here in the finale. Kenta Maeda went 10-8 with a 4.04 ERA last season and he was sharp in his final spring training session, allowing three runs over six innnings, including seven K's off 85 pitches. Maeda's aggressiveness gives him the advantage here over his counterpart Reynaldo Lopez in my opinion, who was an unspectacular 10-15 with a 5.38 ERA last year. Lopez throws hard, but his command issues are going to be a major issue vs. this talented Twins line-up this afternoon. Lay the short price!
