Both teams are on the cusp of being eliminated from playoff contention. Each still has an opportunity to turn that around, but that said, I don't think that the home ice advantage can be overlooked as a very real deciding factor in this particular contest. Calgary has lost five of its last six. Vancouver had won four in a row, but it enters now having lost three straight. Vancouver has an advantage of not having plays since March 24th though. Also note that it's 8-3 in its last 11 when playing on three or more days of rest. The Flames on the other hand are a miserable 5-16 in their last 21 after a home loss of three or more goals. Look for the rest home side to lay the hammer down!
