I like the New York Yankees to beat the Oakland Athletics on Thursday. The Yankees have definitely kicked it into high gear currently on an 11 game win streak. Jameson Taillon (8-4, 3.94 ERA) is starting for the Yankees and he has been pitching great. He has been credited with 7 straight wins and his team has only lost 1 game in his last 11 starts. He has not allowed more than 3 runs in his last 8 starts and should be able to shut down the A's lineup as he has been so great. The Athletics have been in a little slump lately currently on a 4 game losing streak. James Kaprielian (7-4, 3.25 ERA) is on the mound for the A's and he has been good as well. His team has won his last 3 starts, but he allowed 6 runs in the game right before that. The Yankees are just too hot right now to step in front of and Taillon has been more consistent. Yankees take this one.
