T.M. Selection: Flames/Blackhawks OVER.

I am on the over in the Calgary Flames vs Chicago Blackhawks game on Monday. The Flames have been going over in a few of their games lately and that is mainly because they are giving up a lot of goals in their games. They have played 6 games in a row where 5 of them have had 5+ goals total. The Flames have been giving up 3+ goals in 4 of their previous 5 games and have given up 2+ goals in 6 games in a row. They have been very up and down with their scoring lately, some games scoring just 1 goal and other scoring 3+ goals. The Blackhawks have looked terrible this year though and I'm expecting the Flames to open up on their scoring in this game. They have lost 4 games in a row too so they will be hungry to score some goals here looking for the win to end their bad run. The Blackhawks have also seen 5+ goals total in 5 of their previous 6 games and that's because they are giving up a ton of goals too. They have given up 11 goals in their 3 most recent games but they have also scored 8 goals themselves. I think the Blackhawks are going to score a few goals here on home ice as they look to turn their year around and starting winning games but I'm also expecting the Flames to score a lot and break their bad run here. Both teams have looked bad on defense but good on offense in their games lately and both are going to be hungry for a win here. I'm expecting a lot goals here so I like the over in this game.
