I like the Carolina Hurricanes to win this game against the Tampa Bay Lightning on Tuesday, October 24th. As the Hurricanes entered the season as one of the favorites to win the cup, fans are shaking their heads at the past two games. They've allowed 13 goals, and it's not been pretty. However, this team is more than good enough to overcome their defensive struggles and get back to being one of the best in hockey.

Looking at Tampa, they are just a different team without Vasilevskiy. Yes, they've played alright without him. But this team is not nearly as dangerous until he comes back. Despite allowing many goals, the Hurricanes are also scoring a bunch (4.5 gpg.) With two full days off, I like the Canes to focus more on defense as they rebound here and get back into the winning column.
