T.M. Selection: Minnesota Wild - ML


I like the Minnesota Wild to win this game against the Winnipeg Jets on Tuesday. Buckle up your seatbelts because this one should be one of the biggest & best games of the season so far. Minnesota, which is already locked into a postseason berth, is trying to edge closer to the top of the Central Division over the last few games. Currently sitting in third place in the Central Division, they would have to play on the road in the first round of the playoffs. However, with a bit of luck, they could find themselves with the second seed by the end of things. That would be gigantic for a team that definitely has the talent.
Winnipeg is currently fighting for something else. Right now, they would be the last team in the Western Conference to make the playoffs. Hanging on to that final Wild Card spot by a thread, they could use a couple of wins to end the season. But standing in their way are two Central powerhouses, including this Minnesota team.


Looking at this matchup, the Wild have gotten the best of the Jets so far this season, winning all three meetings. The Wild now have their superstar, Kirill Kaprizov, back and fully healthy again. Winnipeg just doesn't have enough star power right now, and I don't think they can beat this hungry Minnesota team. Expect Minny to grab yet another win here today as they make Jets fans very anxious for the last game of the season.
