T.M. Selection: Carolina Hurricanes

I like the Carolina Hurricanes to win this game against the Florida Panthers on Thursday. I know that the Canes have not looked like themselves looking at their last few weeks of play, but they actually looked very strong again in their last game against the Red Wings. & yes. I know it was against Detroit. But, they needed that win to build some confidence while playing without Svechnikov. It's hard losing one of your best players for the season, especially late in the year like this. But the Hurricanes are a good enough team to overcome it. This is a massive game for Carolina as the 1 seed in the Metropolitan Division is on the line. With the Devils just a point behind (NJ would own the tiebreaker,) the Hurricanes must win this game. I believe that they will.
