T.M. Selection: Carolina Hurricanes - ML

I like the Carolina Hurricanes to win this game against the New York Islanders on Wednesday. In Game 1, I instantly knew that this was going to be one of the lowest scoring series' in the first round. Now many may think that favors the Islanders and their play style, but the Hurricanes are one of the best defensive teams in the league as well. Carolina is starting to find a rhythm without Svechnikov. That was a critical loss, but I still believe that they own the talent to go far in these playoffs. I wouldn't be surprised if the Canes started Raanta in net once again, as he was excellent in Game 1. But, if they go with Freddie, I still believe that the Hurricanes will come out and win Game 2 as well. I've got the Canes in 5, so expect them to win this one before they travel to the Big Apple.
