1) The Rangers have been the hotter team with wins in 3 straight and 5 of last 7 but the line is held down here because Jon Gray has had some rough recent starts.

2) The Angels have lost 6 of 7 and Daniel did not impress in the minors so it is certainly hard to trust him either given his limited MLB experience.

3) Considering the pitching edge plus the Rangers having the better bullpen record and the better overall play of late, this is a great price overall and that is the bottom line here. -140 price on the defending champs and a team that is the much hotter team is a steal!

4) The Angels have lost 43 of 72 games this season in match-ups against right-handed starters. Gray was great against them the last time he faced them as well!
