T.M. Selection: Pirates/Diamondbacks OVER.

1) I won with the under here yesterday but now come right back with the over today. Pirates Marcos Gonzales has a low ERA this month but opponents are hitting .333 against him in July. I look for another outing here in which he is very hittable facing a tough Diamondbacks lineup in Arizona.

2) Arizona's Brandon Pfaadt has been pitching better of late. However, he is an unimpressive 3-4 with a 4.63 ERA in his 12 night game starts this season. Pittsburgh's lineup likely to have 4 guys in it today that are a combined 4 for 10 (.400 batting average) against Pfaadt.

3) This total is absolutely on the low side as it has even dropped to an 8 in many spots early Saturday morning. Pirates entered yesterday's game on a 10-3 run and scoring 5.9 runs a game in the 10 wins in that streak. Arizona has won 9 of 12 games and scored 5.3 runs a game during this streak. The bats will be the story for each team tonight on Saturday the way I see this one going!
