T.M. Selection: Cardinals/Cubs UNDER.

1) Both teams scored double digits yesterday but each club is facing a much tougher pitching match-up today.

2) Sonny Gray had a high ERA in July but his performance on the season shows his true abilities of course which is in line with his long-term success. What I like about his July is that his strikeout numbers were still up. He struck out 29 in 24 innings and he did have a quality outing against the Cubs last month.

3) Chicago's Shota Imanaga appears to be back on top of his game again. Imanaga has been charged for only 10 earned runs in his last 5 starts. He also handcuffed St Louis the only time he faced them this season. I am expecting similar results here and this one turns into a pitchers duel.
