T.M. Selection: Rays/Dodgers OVER.

1) Bobby Miller just got another start with the Dodgers and he struggled yet again. It is hard to hold out much hope for him right now considering he has an 8.02 ERA in his 8 starts this season. He continues to struggle every time he is given a chance this season.

2) The Rays are not a big scoring team and are off a 3-1 loss but they averaged 4 runs scored per game in the 6 games prior. Tampa Bay is starting Tyler Alexander here in what is essentially a bullpen game and the Dodgers should keep hitting.

3) Los Angeles has scored an average of 5 runs per game over their last 13 games! They have won 10 of 13 games and are continuing to prove they are one of the best teams in the majors. I like the value here of this total at 8 and a 1/2 runs as it means only 9 are needed for a win and LA is going to get their runs like they always seem to but Miller's struggles continue as well.
