1) I like the Blue Devils to get the solid win in this game against the Wildcats on Friday, September 6th. The line looks like a trap line to take Northwestern at home and lay less than a field goal and I am not falling for it!
2) Duke dominated the Cats when these teams met last season and the underdog has actually pulled the upset in 7 of the last 10 meetings between these teams. The Blue Devils defense dominated in their game last week but everyone seems to only be talking about the Wildcats D. This Blue Devils D can hold a week Northwestern offense in check.
3) Duke's head coach is actually on an 86% run when he is an away dog. The Blue Devils won outright here as an underdog 2 years ago but I want the points here just on the chance they are needed. Look for the underdog to win a defensive battle here.
