1) I like the Bulldogs to get the solid win in this game against the Sun Devils on Saturday, September 7th. I will grab the points here but I am expecting an upset as ASU off that easy win against Wyoming but the Cowboys simply did not show up and were dreadful!
2) Mississippi State absolutely will show up this week against Arizona State. The Bulldogs have a new head coach and they got their confidence going with the big win over Eastern Kentucky last week. That was a weaker team to face but it gives them confidence to now go on the road and take care of business.
3) Look for the Sun Devils to be the overconfident team as last week's win over Wyoming simply never presented a true challenge even though it was expected to! That can lead to overconfidence for a team and now they host a tough SEC team that is hungry with a first year coach. This looks like a dangerous spot for the Sun Devils. New Bulldogs QB Shapen got his confidence up with a good break-in game last week and he is going to challenge ASU much more than Wyoming did and I like this Bulldogs defense too!
