1) The Phillies off a loss in Tuesday in a game like Sunday in which they essentially gave it away. They will bounce back on Thursday just like they did on Tuesday as Philadelphia has been so strong off a loss.

2) Philadelphia lost their first two games this season. Since then they have had only one 2-game losing streak and one 3-game losing streak. The other 13 times the Phillies were off a loss they have gone 13-0!

3) Both pitchers have great numbers this season but I still give Nola - so strong on the road this season - the edge over Boston's Houck (6-5 record).

4) Considering the pitching edge plus the Phillies fantastic record this season - including when coming off a loss - this is a great price overall and that is the bottom line here. -105 is a steal!
