Houston was on a three-game win streak before losing 48-44 to Memphis in its final regular season game. The Cougars are led by QB Greg Ward Jr, who finished with 3,328 yards passing and a solid 22:9 TD to INT ratio. Houston averages 38 PPG, which ranks it 21st in the nation and the defense has been almost as good, allowing an average of just 22.6 PPG, ranked 27th. Note that the Cougars are 3-0 ATS in non-conference games this year and 10-3 ATS in the same position over the last three, while SDSU is just 2-3 ATS in non-conference games this season and just 5-9 ATS in the same position over the last three.
