As note that Southern Miss is 16-8 ATS in its last 24 after scoring 60 points or less, and 12-9 ATS in its last 21 after three or more consecutive SU losses, while SDSU is just 1-10 ATS in its last 11 games played in the month of December and just 4-7 ATS in its last 11 against teams with losing records.
The bottom line: We think that home side gets caught looking ahead to the Christmas break and then conference play the lowly SOUTHERN MISS EAGLES keep this one close enough to sneak in through the back door down the stretch.
