Stephen Nover's College Football Total of the Year
(NCAAF) USC vs. Washington, 11/12/2016 2:30 PM, Score: 26 - 13
Total: 62.00 | -110.00 Over
Result: Win
Bad weather is expected with the weather forecast calling for an 80 percent of rain and wind up to 20 mph.

But it's not just bad weather why I strongly like this game to go under this posted total. Washington has a tremendous defense and is facing a freshman quarterback, Sam Danold. The Huskies are allowing only 17 points per game. They rank 11th in scoring defense and 18th in total defense. The Huskies are at their stingiest playing at home allowing just 11 points per game.

USC has picked up its defense led by a pair of outstanding linebackers. The Trojans are giving up an average of fewer than 20 points per game and 368 yards during their last three games. During this span, the Trojans held Oregon, Cal and Arizona to a combined 39 points under their averages. The Trojans have gone under in their last five games and in 10 of their last 14 road games.

Tempo-wise neither team plays fast. The under is 6-1-1 the past eight times these two teams have met.
