Tampa Bay is the best team in the NHL and has not only revenge motivation for a 5-1 home loss suffered to the Flames on Jan. 11, but also a poor showing coming out of All-Star break with a 3-1 road loss to Winnipeg two days ago.
The Lightning went with backup goalie Louis Dominque in that loss to Jets. Now they go from one of the worst backups to maybe the best starting goalie with Andrei Vasilevskiy back in net. Star defenseman Victor Hedman also is back for Tampa Bay. He returned against the Jets after being out five games with a lower-body injury.
The Flames have lost their last five games.
